Voice commands

You can access certain menu functions by saying a voice
command. The voice command can be, for example, a function name.

Voice commands cannot be used while the phone is sending or receiving data over
a GPRS connection.

Adding a voice command to a menu function

Press

Menu

, and select

Extras

and

Voice commands

.

Select the folder, for example

Profiles

, which contains the desired function, for

example

Silent

. Scroll to the function, press

Options

and select

Add command

.

Press

Start

and clearly say the word(s) that you want to record as the voice

command.

If the function already has a voice command, the indicator

is shown beside its

name.

Note that all the voice commands are deleted if you insert another SIM card into
the phone and save new voice commands.

Using a voice command

Press and hold the right selection key

in standby mode until you hear a short

tone. Say the command clearly while holding the phone in the normal position
near to your ear. The phone plays the command and carries out the related
function.

If you use a compatible headset, press and hold the headset button until you hear
a short tone and say the voice command clearly.
